The parent company M/s. Vamendu was started in 1985 with very low investment of Rs. 5 Lakhs. Our first product was PCB (Printed Circuit Board). We developed Import Substitutes of different cards for our valued customers like
"Bluestar Limited", "TATA TELECOM LIMITED", "GUJARAT INSTRUMENTATION LIMITED", "TORRENT MEDISYSTEMS LIMITED" etc.

We did total Import Substitution of Electronic for "STOCK GRAVIMETRIC FEEDERS" for Vanakbori Thermal Power Station - GUJARAT ELECTRICITY BOARD.

As the promoters are basically farmers and coming from a village of Gujarat, they planned to use their experience and talent to be used for the Indian villages which was even not touched upon by the Indian Industries. During our frequent visits of our village, we saw long queues of women and farmers waiting for their turns to submit their milk early in the morning and late in the evening. In spite of their hard work, they were not paid for their correct quantity, quality & time. We decided to explore the market of Indian villages for a faster and accurate way for Milk Collection.

After making an extensive market survey for the product in 1991 - we took it as a challenging task to develop an "Automatic Milk Collection Station". We came out with a Prototype Unit and installed it in the village Milk Producers Co-Operative Society of Malan - a village of Gujarat.

The overwhelming response of this product encouraged us for refinement and upgradation of the product and market it. We applied for the Manufacturing License of this product to the Civil Supplies Ministry, Govt. of India as well as Legal Meterology Department of State Govt. Of Gujarat, but unfortunately we were not able to get the license for 4 years as this was an entirely new product.

We started selling the AMCS (Automatic Milk Collection Stations) after getting Third Party Certification from RRSL (Regional Research & Standardard Laboratory), Govt. of India. After successful installation of around 150 AMCS in different villages of Gujarat - in 1995, a PSU "Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL)", a joint venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of Rajasthan approached us for its marketing.

Now, we are having agreements with the REIL for selling of AMCS throughout the country and abroad as well. We are also doing lots of R&D work for their requirements. The successful development and marketing of AMCS has encouraged us to explore and go into the innovative and untouched market segments of INDIA. Almost more than 2000 villages are using AMCS as of today. This has saved lot of time for Indian villagers and played a big role in economic development of villages.

We feel proud that hon. Ex-President of USA - Mr. Bill Clinton has seen our machine in Dhoblai village near Jaipur during his visit to India in March'2000.

Now we are working jointly with REIL for the total solution of different Milk Unions of India, which includes DOCK-AUTOMIZATION, Quality Testing, Accounting, Production and Marketing. Meanwhile, we established a reputation of being innovative and research-oriented people.

This brought us different research and development projects of Central and State Governments and from Private Sectors.

Recently, we have developed "SMART PUMP AUTOMATION KIT " especially to suit and meet the requirement of Indian petrol pumps. SMART PUMP AUTOMATION KIT is designed in such a way that it can be easily fitted to the existing digital petrol pumps and can also be fitted to mechanical pumps after some modifications.

Oil dispenser is also developed to deliver accurate quantity of oil within the accuracy of 1 ml. Hence this is an add-on arrangement. This way old existing pumps can be modified to the state of the art technology without a large investment and saves valuable foreign exchange. Because of the large requirement from different Oil Companies for Oil Dispensers only - we have developed a separate unit for Oil Dispensing - "SMART OIL DISPENSER".
